
10,000 Steps a Day is SOOOO Yesterday
While eating my four-day-old cannoli this morning, I was searching for a step counting widget so that I could share my progress with you. Yesterday was only 8500 steps but that was more of an experiment to see what my baseline would be for a day I considered moderately active. Obviously, I need to step up the pace, so to speak.
Anyway, I didn't find the step widget but I did find this! Obviously, internet surfing is now a sanctioned athletic event! You can download software to your computer that will track you mouse clicks AND......THE CALORIES BURNED CLICKING. Is this a great world or what?

That is a nifty little tool, will have to grab it myself. I must be an elite athlete LOL
Since I have started my own blog, I am afraid my mouse definitely burns more calories than my feet. I started a Tai Chi class and am trying to motivate myself to watch and follow a Yoga DVD to get myself moving more.
It's a pity the internet didn't provide massages for the mouse arm too.
My significant other just started me on yet another training program. I think this widget would be great to put on his desktop. I may get some use out of this one. Thanks for the link.
