I'm a twice 'round mom. My first children were born when I was 30 and 31, respectively and then, after divorce and remarriage, I had twins at 42. I can't decide if my cup runneth over or my plate is full.

I'm a veterinarian that works with small farms and am interested in sustainability, safe food, local food and social justice.

I blog to have a voice, usually a humorous one but things can get both political here at times and at others, pretty sappy. I am amazed on a daily basis by the intelligence, courage, love and humour of my friends. I do believe the blog will bring world peace, if we can start the movement...
